• The East Village Queer Film Festival turns 10 this week at Wild Project. The festival was built around queer-themed work, LGBTQIA+ filmmakers and the downtown avant-garde, which makes a decade of survival in the East Village genuinely worth noting.

• The Bureau of General Services–Queer Division is still hiding one of NYC’s best queer resources upstairs at The Center: an all-volunteer bookstore, cultural center and event space open six days a week. If you somehow haven’t wandered into Room 210 yet, consider this your reminder that not every local queer institution requires a two-drink minimum.
