Happy Pride Month, Darlings! New York is at its gayest this time of year. The sidewalks are sticky, the drag queens are overbooked, and every group chat is trying to coordinate twelve events at once. We’ve done some of the homework for you: tickets to win, shows to see, neighborhood gossip, a few reasons to leave the house, and a reminder that Pride is still built by people showing up for one another. Let’s get into it.

Kacey Musgraves saddles up at Barclays Center on Wednesday, 9/2 for the ★ See you in the Middle of Nowhere★ tour and you can win a pair of tickets. The country-pop star has been a favorite among queer listeners for years, thanks to her open-hearted songwriting and refusal to fit neatly into anyone else’s box.

JUST ANNOUNCED

  • Sony Hall’s Pride programming contains multitudes: Big Freedia for the dancers, Martha Wash and Marsha Warfield for living queer history, and Destin Conrad for anyone currently pretending they’re fine. You can win free tickets too. We’re spoiled, honestly.*

  • Missed out the first time? Labiahead, the all-women Radiohead tribute band made up of Broadway talent and self-proclaimed obsessives, just added an early show on Sunday, 6/28 after their original performance sold out and you can win tickets.*

  • If your idea of queer nightlife involves less vodka soda and more beautiful existential dread, the Queer Butoh Festival is back at The Brick starting Wednesday, 6/24. Expect four evenings of boundary-pushing dance, performance, and embodied experimentation from local and international artists celebrating a decade of wonderfully strange queer art.

  • "One of the coolest subscriptions" ever joined, "worth every penny," and "one of the best things to happen to the live music scene." DoNYC MORE members’ words, not ours. Enjoy 12 months for $50.*

SPOTLIGHT ON NYC PRIDE SPONSORS

A little extra love for NYC Pride’s sponsors this year. While some brands have quietly backed away from LGBTQ initiatives, these businesses chose to stay visible, stay involved, and support Pride in New York. Some are household names, some are neighborhood gems, and all deserve a moment of appreciation.

  • Curious Elixirs - producer of handcrafted, nonalcoholic cocktails made with adaptogens and botanical ingredients.

  • SpotHero - parking reservation platform that allows drivers to find and book parking spaces in advance.

  • Soft Bar - Brooklyn-based alcohol-free bar and social space offering mocktails, coffee, and community events.

  • Sloop Brewing Co - New York craft brewery best known for its Juice Bomb IPA and other small-batch beers.

  • Davidovich Rainbow Bagels - New York wholesale bakery famous for traditional bagels, including its colorful rainbow bagel varieties.
