The NYC LGBT Community Center raised over $2 million at its annual gala on Wednesday, 4/16, drawing major donors and even a failed $35K cameo bid tied to the gay series Heated Rivalry. It’s a reminder that while queer spaces are disappearing physically, funding and influence are consolidating in the places we have left.
